Janice Floyd the founder and inspiration behind
Floyd Shoes set up the company in 2002, on her return to the UK
from an extended period living overseas.
Janice produces two collections a year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter,
and she specialises in innovative colours and designs for both Day
and Evening wear. The philosophy behind the brand is simple –
to produce distinctive, fashionable, elegant, and comfortable shoes
at an affordable price. All of these philosophies, particularly in relation to comfort, are frequently commented on by her increasing group of regular customers, who now wait eagerly for the arrival of her next Collection.
Over time Floyd Shoes has expanded into handbags to complement the
shoes. These are produced in high quality leather, in traditional
and vibrant colours, across a range of designs and sizes. In addition,
Floyd Shoes has a range of stylish Wedding Shoes.
The main sales environment for Floyd Shoes is the website, commercial
fairs, charity fairs, and house/office sales, throughout the UK.
Among the major fairs where Floyd Shoes has been a regular exhibitor
are Country Living, Spirit of Christmas, Mary Howard and The Value
for Money Company. The Floyd Shoes Collection is available to view
in Cheltenham every Monday by appointment.
